World Polio Day
Rotarians,
It isn't too late if you want to get in on the action this Monday October 24th at 5:30. We will be watching the live webcast from the CDC regarding polio and enjoying a bit of fellowship as well. Just let me know if you would like to attend and I will add you to the list. We will also order some pizza so bring $5/person if you would like some. I will have some non-alcoholic drinks but otherwise BYOB. My address is 677 Skyhills Road. It will feel like you are driving forever on Skyhills but we are only 10 mins from the highway. Our home phone number just in case is 705-783-0410.
Also the Runaround is fast approaching. It is November 10th and will likely start at 6:30. The theme this year is Around the World or "Runaround The World". We would like to celebrate our multiculturalism. We thought it would be fun if people dressed or accessorized from their country or heritage (you can go back as far as you want or just a pick a country that you think would be fun, Canadian is OK too). We will be sending around a sign up sheet at the next couple of meetings. This is always a really fun night so lets fill the buses. We are still waiting to finalize details with the restaurants so will have the ticket price (will likely be similar to last year) and locations shortly.
