Rotary Lunch.....Im out of town ...I need to cancel....

Our Rotary Club’s Reception Committee, Peter Miller and Catering Manager Ken Stronach, whose business serves lunch would like to, remind our members....

 

1) If you are not attending the next Rotary meeting(s), please call AL’S TAXI at 705 789 2374 by 9:00 AM on Tuesday. You may call Al’s Taxi anytime, 24/7. State your name as a Rotarian and tell the operator the date(s) that you will not be at lunch.

 

2) If you are bringing a guest(s) to the next Rotary lunch, please call Al’s taxi also by 9:00 AM on Tuesday and tell the operator the number of guests, so they can add those folks to the expected number to provide lunch for.

 

3) Peter Miller calls Al’s Taxi after 9:00 AM on Tuesday to get the list of Rotarians who are not attending the meeting the next day and to get a number of guests that we can expect.

 

4) Peter then calls Ken Stronach to tell him the number of lunches to prepare for. The goal here is to have enough lunches for all who attend the Rotary luncheon on Wednesday.

 

5) Peter Miller is our attendance officer and he also prepares the pre-billing of our lunches that we receive quarterly. To make it fair to all, he deducts the lunches that we cancel when we call Al’s Taxi; if you forget to call Al’s Taxi to cancel, you are charged for that lunch. So folks, no more crying the blues to Peter when you get your next pre-billing of your lunches!! He’s heard all the excuses of why you forgot to call, before.
