Club Education by Past District Governor, Ronald P.Strickland:

Our club is fortunate to have a very knowledgeable Rotarian as a long time member of our club. Ron again tried to review, teach and remind us last week of the:

The Objects of Rotary

FIRST: The development of friendship & acquaintances as an opportunity for service.

SECOND: High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;

THIRD: The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business and community life;

FOURTH: The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

We are getting pretty good at being able to recite the 24 words that make up the 4-Way Test. Soon we will be able to do the same with the Objects of Rotary!!
