In lieu of our August lunch meeting, President Jen lead us on a road trip to visit our fellow Rotarians in Bracebridge. In fact all three Huntsville area clubs were invited to break bread at the home (more accurately the rather large out structures) on the property of Bracebridge Rotarian Paul Hammond. Paul is a community leader in Bracebridge and a long term Rotarian who just happens to have a passion for collecting anything auto. He and his wife Shirley proudly showed the visitors 60 years of collections, all in pristine shape, a testament to the love and dedication they have committed to their 'project'.

Visiting Rotarians were in awe of the collection, which included two massive International tractor cabs, tow trucks, wagons, vintage pickups and cars.

Look but don't touch for sure

Paul said he borrowed these off Bill Sibeon, standard in all Al's taxis!

Yo Adrian ... try riding this around the Great Lakes. The original 'Iron Butt'

A reminder that the club is looking for a Secretary. Paul indicated he would be prepared to loan these out - all in the name of Rotary

The food was great and the fellowship was even better

All three Huntsville Presidents brought greetings to our hosts.

The Hammond 'garage' wasn't the only area where memories were created. The old school bus seemed a lot smaller!!

Hats off to our driver Bill. Great Rotarian ... even better driver!

A good time was had by all and future similar trips are in the works. Thanks Paul and Shirley and all the Bracebridge Club.
