Recognize Hard working Rotarians

The membership committee will be presenting a certificate for a “Rotarian of the month”, to recognize the hard work of Rotarians who do a lot of work behind the scenes that makes our club work smoothly.

Last week Brandy Van Gelder, chair of that committee, presented the first Rotarian of the month certificate to the chairman of the Rotary auction committee, Rotarian Hugh Holland.

 We all know that Hugh has been working on the preparation of the canvassing tips, training of new Rotarians to campus, finding a depot, setting the Auction date and getting the timetable ready to go to make sure the auction bends in order to matter in the last several months. Hugh told me one day that in fact he works at the Rotary auction committee set up and operation the whole year through; certainly a well-earned Rotarian of the month recognition.
