Our Club 1st. Night Meeting

Congratulations to President- Elect Debbie Knobelsdorf and her team for creating such a great evening meeting last Wednesday night.  I thought that Debbie K. did a great job conducting her first Rotary meeting too!

It was very nice to have so many guests and visitors with us for this our first evening meeting, namely, Paul and Jackie Timmins; Kris Boothby and Savannah; Kathleen Miller, Bernie Timothy; Bill Rashleigh; Ragan Lovegrove; Sue Chruckshank; Romania Sullivan; Chris Knobelsdorf; Amy & Joel Jones; Judith Blanchette;  Bob Sportum;  Charlotte Holland; Sequoia Henry; Lisa McLaren and Janice Berkenmeier, a recent past president of our club.

I appreciated Doug Sullivan for coming forward and offering to be my right hand man!! Doug...I think that we can be a super team!!

Thanks also for you Rotarians who volunteered your time in our important community service project when we help the Salvation Army at the L.L.B.O. for the last two Saturdays in December when they need a few extra dollars to carry on their work in our community.  Just a reminder, if you are unable to do your shift, please get another Rotarian to cover your shift as it’s important to have two folks on the Christmas Kettle at all times. Thanks again and I’ll be circulating the schedule for those two days for your reference.
