At our table during the bingo envelope stuffing session our conversation moved to trying to eat healthy. Debbie K. spoke about her turkey breast recipe which she puts together in the morning in her crock pot and then when she gets home from work all she has to do is add some vegetables and salad and  presto they have a very nutritious meal without having to order a pizza or have an order of fish and chips, when she's tired from working all day.

Knowing that we all are trying to eat healthy and not often turn to the fast food all the time, Debbie K. has consented to share her recipe with us.

Here is an opportunity for our other rotary families to share some of their favorite recipes which we all can use. Just send them to the editor of the program will be pleased to publish them next time........

CROCK POT TURKEY BREAST

Place frozen turkey breast in slow cooker

Mix and pour over top ...

1/2 cup orange juice

½ cup water

1 tsp crushed dried rosemary  ½ tsp dried thyme

1/8 cup of sugar

Cook on low for 6-8 hours (I found 6 works for the average breast) Image
