President’s Night: Will be held Wednesday June 18th 6:30 PM at Hidden Valley in the Birches Room. Dinner will be a BBQ Buffett, with entrees for all; @ $50.00 per person. The planning committee circulated a sign up sheet asking Rotarians to indicate the number of guests and to choose the particluar entree that they preferred - choicesd were CHICKEN; STEAK; or SALMON. No, you can't have one of each Dave Van Gelder!!  For those of you Rotarians who were not there last week, please contact Ken Stronach and let him know your guests and  their entree choice.

Gettin Ready for DockFest Day July 5th: Please note.........
 
Sunday June 1st 9:00 to 1200 noon – Rotarians are asked to go to the Public Works Yards on Madill Road to help in removing all of the DockFest boats and other equipment that has been stored in trailers since last July. Some repair and painting will be needed but a full inventory needs to be done so that any deficiencies can be solved by July 4th.
 
Sunday  June 8th at 2:00 PM till dark, or when people go home, according to Debbie K. There will be a Pot-Luck BBQ held at Debbie and Chris Knobelsdorf Cottage, located on the river below the Locks on Brunel Road. The DockFest Committee wants to try out the boats on the river and maybe a race or two. So bring your boating operator permit, a pot-luck dish and let’s have a last party with Debbie K. as the Pres!!
 
Keith and Marta of Kearney Ontario - send us a thank-you letter relating their activities in Nicaragua this past winter. Please refer to the letter on the bulletin board. They do wonder work in the poor villages there with the $2,000.00 that we give them. We'll hear from them in September when they visit our club as speakers .
