Bingo win...Christmas shopping
Tuesday, November 13th as our bingo on-air production was going along; there was one household who was very excited! There was a grandma who was being helped in finding the numbers by her grandkids. The deal was according to grandma, if we win, we have to divide the money with our five sets of grandkids. No problem grandma! Number 52 was called, and the kids were jumping up and down but no-win!! Number 53 was called, we won, we won grandma! Where's the phone? And so it was, Will Gibson, bingo caller of the evening, called the right number for this grandma and her grand kids could win the junior jackpot of $1000.
This story was told to my wife Fran as she was volunteering at Spruce Glen School last week. The young lady who was the storyteller was some excited!! She said that we divided the money with our five families, each getting $200. We are going Christmas shopping!!
We can only be excited for these grandkids as they get to spend grandma's win!!
