Hey Rotarians!!

Have a look at a couple of assists that will help our Auction canvassing.

1) Specific Projects to be Funded by the 2012 Rotary Auction, by Hugh Holland:

          If asked what specific projects will be supported by this year's auction, the following can be mentioned:

       39^th year in the Rotary International Youth Exchange Program. This year a student from HHS will attend school in Croatia and a student from Taiwan
·will attend  HHS. This program helps to build a foundation for world understanding and peace.

        Continuation of Rotary Youth Leadership and Citizenship programs

· Continued support for the YWCA "Girl's Choice" program that assists young women at HHS deal with a variety of problems

· Continued assistance with the breakfast program at HHS

· Fund bursaries to students graduating from HHS, 5 X $1,000.00

· Base funding for our sixth water well in impoverished Malawi, Africa. 3000 people now have fresh water
Supporting "Back-Packs for Kids" program that supplies back packs loaded with school supplies to kids that otherwise would not have one.

· Support for "Art Space", the new public art gallery in Huntsville

· Terry Fox local committee Bridge Banner

· There will be more projects and help for the needy as the year unfolds

2) Block Sponsor Canvassers: Shannon Boothby, our webmaster, reports that as we get those sponsors collected that she can immediately put them on the auction site along with their business logo!!

So let's get on our canvassing routes to help Hugh Holland and his committee put together our best auction!!
