Adventures in Citizenship

 

Last week we heard from Andrew Markham who had recently attended the Rotary Adventures in Citizenship program in Ottawa

Andrew enjoyed meeting people from across Canada and learning about our Country`s government and what it means to be a Canadian citizen. He enjoyed participating in a morning in parliament sitting in Tony Clement`s seat , touring the University of Ottawa, the Canadian War Museum and the Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health. He also got to attend a Citizenship ceremony which for him was a very powerful experience. Andrew thanked our Club for the opportunity to attend this program.
